The intrepid hippie, “Stevie Wander,” is in his 16^th week of wandering the globe.  We find him in his third week at the Kibbutz in northern Israel.  He expands upon his daily life at the communal settlement, dreaming to get back on the road near winter’s end. From the petting zoo, and a hilarious ride on Clyde the spitting camel, to basketball games versus the kibbutzniks, people in the international kibbutz community, roaming the grapefruit orchards, reading Lord of the Rings, and visiting the town of Nazareth.  Come hear about the continuing saga and enjoy a fun story.

Co-author Steve Reifman celebrates the 50th anniversary of the ultimate hippy trail journey. His adventure, the inspiration for the book Wanderer co-written with F.T. Burke, took him across four continents through 26 countries in 1970-1971. Now, on the Golden Anniversary of his adventure, Steve Reifman – or “Stevie Wander,” as he likes to be called – tells the true tales behind the story.
