Wanderer Weekly #27 – Syria: Lebanon to Turkey

It’s week 27 of Stevie Wander’s year-long journey on the hippie trail.  This week we find him on the move from Lebanon into Syria where he hooks up with a fellow traveler, from the States, Lad.  Our intrepid hippie wanderer and his friend visit Damascus, the Umayyad Mosque, then onto Homs, Palmyra and Aleppo.  Along their way they purchase flutes and Arab head-wraps to hide their hippie-ness and blend in with the surroundings.  Like pied-pipers they play their magical flute music along the roads, in ancient ruins and in various marketplaces.  Lad and Stevie Wander eventually make their way through Syria on into Turkey.  Come and hear more about this unique once-in-a-lifetime adventure!
