I’m from England. A buddy of mine Alex, took to the road with me in 1972. We traveled across mainland Europe to Greece, mostly hitchhiking. Then we boarded a ship in Istanbul, Turkey, heading for the Far East. We were carefree hippies just enjoying life. We met so many wonderful people along the hippy trail. Our travels took us through the Middle East, India, Nepal, Malaysia, and finally ending up in Australia. We took planes, trains and automobiles. Ended up seeing half the world in those days. As I grow older I hold these travels as the most precious memories of my youth.
