The wandering vagabond hippie continues his journey to Granada. We pick up the story on the island of Formentera where the hero and his companions get in trouble with the law for swimming naked. The guys have their passports confiscated and endure a forced march to the local jail and eventually get exiled from the island. Then onto a Spanish steamer back to the mainland while enjoying an acid trip. Then a long train ride along the Mediterranean coast to Granada.

Co-author Steve Reifman celebrates the 50th anniversary of the ultimate hippy trail journey. His adventure, the inspiration for the book Wanderer co-written with F.T. Burke, took him across four continents through 26 countries in 1970-1971. Now, on the Golden Anniversary of his adventure, Steve Reifman – or “Stevie Wander,” as he likes to be called – tells the true tales behind the story.
